I’m starting a new tumblog because I hope plan to be out of the country next semester and this is the easiest way I can think of (other than my unused Facebook) to stay in touch. I’ll update this thing — in the library, with my feet up and my shoes off, pretending to do work — semi-frequently (e.g. on most weekdays) and most of my typing will be via my tiny iPod Touch or my larger-screened computer if I have the time and/or accessibility.
Writing wise, I am currently (and unfortunately) prone to run-on sentences, abusing punctuation (parentheses, semi-colons, etc.) and abv. far too often. Even more lamentably, the content of this blog may or may not be dependent on my caffeine intake rather than my invariably off-kilter sleep-work ratio (for both, tolerance levels may vary). Topics will range from short stories, observations, newspaper-links, art exhibit collections, songs, travel, and photo essays, so please check in here if you’re interested in the any of the above.
For those who tend towards the verbose, you may have found a kindred spirit by clicking on this page. To all, welcome: we are all the witty, the astute, the darling and the damned. If F. Scott Fitzgerald was still alive, he would probably meet you at this party; more than possibly, he would have quite a few words to say. So, please, pull up a chair and help yourself to some Pad Thai. If you have a story to share, you’re more than free to stay.
